I have been designing formals for the past 35 years. Bridal wear has now become my focus as I feel that the British brides-to-be are crying out for individuality that is not totally traditional but exudes a sense of style and elegance in terms of colour and cut. My passion is to create a fusion between East and West as well as looking at ways to enhance the traditional in bridal wear. Khol by Roohi is creating individual pieces of elegance working closely with the client to discover their personality. We aim to discover exactly what our customers are looking to achieve in their style and appearance, whether its modern or traditional or a bit of both. Each bridal outfit goes through a design process that looks at colours and fabrics in detail. Clients are advised of current styles and choice of detailing. We aim to have each outfit stylised to suit the personality of the customer.

Colours and techniques are intricately created by our Design Director, who spends hours developing the colour schemes and thread work. The designs are then painstakingly explained and developed further with our team of ‘Karigars’ ( our artisans) who diligently spend countless hours to create that perfect outfit for you!
